Goldey Leads in Honors for SC Softball Players

             In looking at final statistics from the Mid-South Conference softball season, the name of Hagan Goldey appears in the top six in nearly every offense category. The senior shortstop from Lancaster, Ky., in addition to making the First Team All-Conference, also joined four other Patriots on the Academic All-Mid South Conference team. Read more.

Patriots Season Ends With A Thud

            The St. Catharine College softball team had one more chance to qualify for the Mid-South Conference tournament that begins this weekend in Kingsport, Tenn. And in each game of Monday’s doubleheader it looked like Holly Smith’s team could get it done. But the visiting Campbellsville Tigers took control of each game late to bring a disappointing end to the Patriots’ season.      Read more.

Patriots Swept at Wise in Softball

             The St. Catharine College softball team needed just one win Saturday to secure a spot in this weekend’s Mid-South Conference tournament in Kingsport, Tenn. But, although they came close in game two at UVA-Wise, the Patriots could not get the victory they needed. Read more.

Softball Takes Two From Montreat

             It took extra innings to do it, but the Patriots were able to edge visiting Montreat College in the second game of Thursday’s doubleheader by a 6-5 score. That followed the 6-2 St. Catharine victory in the opener over the Cavaliers.
